Bike ride to Spread the Awareness for casting vote

Hello Everyone,

I expect most of you'd be aware that very soon we'll have elections in Delhi. I am not too sure whether all of you will vote or not, some think it's silly and makes no difference wherein some believe that every vote counts. There's a lot of advocacy taking place about why you SHOULD vote.

Some have woken up after Aamir's request for casting vote and some have realized this after watching Jaago Re campaign. These people are putting in a lot of effort to spread the word and get many more people to vote.

I often get messages on my cellphone like " Lok sabha 04 mein daagi MPs ki % - RJD46%, BSP 42%, SP 31%, BJP 21%, INC 18%. IS baar apni party se saaf ummidwaar ki maang karen" or.. "Lok sabha 09 chunav ke pase 2 mein 288 daagi ummidwar hain. Is baard umidwaron ki puri jaankari lekar hi vote karen. 56070 par sms karen - MYNETA (Your 6 Digit Pincode)"

When I see all these efforts I feel ashamed when people around me don't vote and I cannot convince them. Nonetheless I never lose hope, rather than sending forwards and all I would prefer sending election messages to all.. Shayad ek jaag jaye..

I am not an expert but would be happy if could get at east 2 people to vote for the right candidate. I feel the problem is we are too emotional and would vote for the party often without even judging the candidate. I don't say that we are experts and we would know who's the best but at least we should give our best shot to it...

I suggest a bike ride to create awareness on a Sunday... and we can post pictures and tell our friends that we want everyone to vote.... If we get the numbers... we are happy.. Even if we don't get one more voter to vote.. we don't lose heart because we gave our best shot... After all there would be some satisfaction about making the effort :)

Those who can't make it to the bike ride journey can always tell their friends, family & acquaintances that we should vote for the candidate and not for the party because if the candidate we chose is right he would help in our development and ultimately the contribution will be made to the nation's overall development.
